- Online Search: Use our website or our social media platforms to find dogs available for adoption.
- Shelter Recommendation: Get in contact with us and tell us what you are looking for. We can give you recommendations suggesting dogs that match your lifestyle and preferences.
- Visit Dogs in Person: If possible, visit the shelter to see the dogs you are interested in.
- Fill Out an Application: Complete the adoption application, providing information about your living situation, experience with pets, and what you are looking for in a dog.
- Interview: After reading and accepting your application, we will conduct a video interview or home visits to ensure a suitable match.
- Pay the Adoption Fee: This fee covers among other things vaccinations, spaying/neutering, microchipping and paperworks for the dog.

- Transport Arrangements:
  - Flying the Dog: Since we are on an island, dogs often need to be flown to their new homes. Adopters are responsible for the transport costs.
  - Flight Parents: If adopters cannot pick up the dog themselves, the shelter can assist in finding flight parents. Adopters are responsible for this transport cost.
  - Transport Box: A transport box must be organized for the flight. The adopters are responsible for this cost.
- Transport Safely: Ensure a safe journey home with appropriate restraints or a crate.
- Introduce Gradually: Allow the dog to explore their new home and settle in at their own pace.
- Routine and Training: Establish a routine for feeding, walking, and potty breaks. Begin basic training and socialization.
